Paolo Maldini and the history of Italian football
The Commission, comprising the heads of the leading Italian sports publications, chose the 11 new names that will be included in the Hall of Fame of Italian football this year.
In addition to the four legends AC Milan - Paolo Maldini, Marco Van Basten, Nereo Rocco, Giovanni Trapattoni, the ranks of the Hall of Fame will also Giampiero Boniperti, Dino Zoff, Luigi Agnolin, Paolo Kazarin, Angelo Schiavio, Conceit Lo White, Valentino Mazzola.
Italian Football Hall of Fame was established by the Italian Football Federation in the year 2011 in Florence in order to perpetuate the memory of those who have left a significant trace in the history of Italian football.
In the Hall of Fame of Italian football are such names as Michel Platini, Roberto Baggio, Marcello Lippi, Pierluigi Collina, Arrigo Sacchi, Adriano Galliani, Gigi Riva.
Awards ceremony will be held on December 13 in one of the most famous buildings of Florence-Palazzo Vecchio.
