Alex Ferguson: “Do not think that the defeat in the battle for the title will be the end of the era of United”

Head coach of Manchester United Alex Ferguson shared his opinion on the significance of the latest round of the Premier League.
“We know that playing with the Physio is not easy, because there is still a chance to win the Premier League. We played in the last four games of the season, when the question was winning title. Three times we were champions and once missed it.
I guess if City will not become a champion, their disappointment is simply not possible to transfer words. It is unknown how this may have an impact on the team.
But on the other hand there are many players of QPR, which in the case of defeat may be available for transfer, and pay the rest of the cuts. Departure from the Premier League could be a serious blow for the team.
We are not hopeful of winning the Championship. It is very likely that this will not happen. But we do not believe that this event would mark the end of an era. On the contrary, in many ways this is similar to the beginning of a new period in the history of the Club.
If we succumb to the title, I hope we can get it back again. As happened once in 2010, we lost the fight for the Championship Chelsea”, - quoted Ferguson official website of Manchester United.
