Roy Hodgson: “Never doubted in Green”

England head coach Roy Hodgson commented on the victory team in a friendly match against Norway (1: 0), noting that believes in goalkeeper Robert Green.
-We had great pressure from the Norwegian team, which owned the ball. But we have stood, with very hard work on the field.
What we can blame ourselves, so that could do more in the counterattack. Several of our strikes have led to a result: in one case, the ball hit the post, another couple of times owners saved by the goalkeeper. But sometimes after winning a single goal, provided a good game to protect it can be said that we have good chances.
Carroll, in my opinion, was pretty good. Not just in attack, where he performed all the work that used to do the "Liverpool", but also on the part of the defense. He played a very important role on both sides of the field. I think Carroll himself happy with his game. Can only hope that the next time he goes to the boxes, it is equally modest.
Happy for the Green that he played so well. He was acting just fine. If today's game will help him overcome the frustration he experienced after the first goal from the United States at the 2010 FIFA World Cup, it's just great. But I will say that I personally never doubted it. He should play the how did this today - quoted Hodgson Sky Sports.
