Rio Ferdinand: “The need to review the system of training of English coaches”

Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand noted deficiencies in the training of English coaches.
“Training English coaches to be reviewed fundamentally. In it there is something good, but something just hopelessly out of date. I am not suggesting that it does not offer the knowledge, but you have to adapt to modern football.
For example, our coaches, unlike foreign counterparts do not teach children to fold under pressure. Yes, and the game in the wall it would be lifted.
You need to teach them to keep the ball under pressure. Foreign players do so much better. Therefore they and possession is much higher.
All players in the Premier League, who were holding the ball, the foreigners. Van der Vaart, Modrić, Pienar, Valencia, Cristiano Ronaldo ... And who do we have? Only the Swansea, Giggs, Scholes. Oh, and Carrick. And Uilser”, - posted by Ferdinand in his tweet.
