Luka Modric: “It was an important match”

The Croatian midfielder and Tottenham Luka Modrić after the match group stage of Euro-2012 with Ireland (3: 1) pointed out a good game of their team, and also shared views on the forthcoming meeting with Italy. 

“Of course, it was an important match. Play for the national team is something else than a club. We all felt great pressure. Much is expected from us fans. I hope that your game we fell short of their expectations, and they are happy.
