Known in the past, the Nigerian striker Rashidi Yekini died at the age of 48 years. The cause of death is not reported, according to Vanguard.
In 58 games for the national team of Nigeria scored 37 goals Yekini. He was the author of the first goal Eagles in the history of the World Championships in 1994. In the same year, the national team won the African Cup. In 1993 Yekini was named player of the year in Africa.
