Tottenham announced the termination of the contract with striker Emmanuel Adebayor. The agreement with 31-year-old player was terminated by the mutual agreement, other details were not disclosed.
Adebayor played for Tottenham in 2011, but the head coach Spurs Mauricio Pochettino said that he did not count on him in this season. On the eve of a mentor, Aston Villa Tim Sherwood said he would take Adebayor to his team, if he wanted to move.
