Real Madrid players have achieved victory over Atletico in the 14-th round of the Championship of Spain. The Madrid Derby, held at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu in the presence of 79 million viewers, ended with a score 2:0 in favor of the team Jose Mourinho.
The hosts went ahead on 16 minutes into the game when Cristiano Ronaldo strike from 25 metres left no chances to goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois. The team created several more scoring chances, but the ball was again only in the grid in the middle of the second half. Ronaldo made a pass on the right wing Mesut Ozil that's not too successfully handled the ball, but managed to punch precisely between the legs of goalkeeper.
Real Madrid scored a 29-point and continued the Chase for the Championship leaders. Atletico with 34 points is second in the standings.
