Cesare Prandelli: “Spain created the story that night”

Prandelli announced that he would continue to direct the Azzura
Italy coach Cesare Prandelli announced that he would continue to direct the Azzura.
“As for my future, my contract with the Italian team is rated up to 2014. Sometimes I have had other thoughts, but as already said, I have never had a problem with the Federation and the people who work there.
Italy - the project that you want to continue, we have the strength and ability. We have a goal to continue the development of the team.
I think we deserve much praise for performances on UEFA Euro-2012 - 8 out of 10. Started the tournament with some problems in our group was Spain, this is not the kind of command that you underestimate. Held a number of different matches, but as it turned out, it was very difficult to recover from matches. I put our team praised the fact that guys have shown – if they are the same, if I have an idea, you can go to your dream.
Guys have demonstrated excellent team spirit, dedication, as well as what we can play football without unnecessary roughness. We have shown that you can lose with dignity. I am very proud of this team.
Spain created the story that night, they deserve it. “Red Fury” over the years, played football at the highest level. And the fact that they played without formal attacker, says a lot about the depth of their composition and capabilities of the players,” – said Prandelli.
