Rio Ferdinand charged in connection with a statement against Ashley Cole

Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand charged the English Football Association misconduct, reported on the official site of the organization. 

This is due to the record left Rio Ferdinand in his Twitter after Chelsea Captain John Terry was acquitted in the case of racist insults against Queens Park Rangers Defender Anton Ferdinand. Rio Ferdinand said the word «Eskimo» Chelsea Defender Ashley Cole, who during the trial, defended Terry. 

Ferdinand must answer to the charge of the English Football Association until 2 August. After that a decision will be made in the case.
