Juan Mata: “England is the odds-on favorite for Euro-2012”

Spain midfielder Juan Mata had shared the view on the future of the England squad for the Euro 2012.
“I don't know how the change will affect the performance of the English coach to Euro-2012. Say, Hodgson is different from the one that was at Capella. But most importantly, as players will be able to adapt to it.
For me, England will always be a contender for the trophy. A great story, but there are also high-class players. Another strength of England – physical strength team. They are always fighting for a ball with incredible tenacity.
After the Euro-2012 I spoke with his British team-mates. They don't want to get Spain already in the quarter-finals. But for us the current layout can hardly be called easy. The absence of Rooney could hurt British plans. But their coach has time to find any solution to this problem.
All considered favourites for the title of Germany, Spain and the Netherlands. But I wouldn't dismiss and England with France, especially if they have a good round”, - quoted Mata Goal.com.
