Cech was recognized as the player of the year in the Czech Republic

Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech became the best Czech player of the season 2011/12, reports the AP.

Second place in the poll, conducted among Czech sports journalists, took the midfielder for Arsenal Tomás Rosicky. It was one of the Wolfsburg midfielder Piotr Iracek.
