Argentinian striker Lionel Messi and Spanish midfielder Andres Iniesta, as well as the Portuguese striker of Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo are the three candidates for FIFA's Ballon d'Or. The last three years that Messi has won this prize, handed over a better player in a calendar year.
Among the candidates for the prize of the best futbolistke of the world included Brazilian March, and Americans Alex Morgan and Abby Vambah.
This was announced at a press conference held today in Sao Paulo. To recap, award ceremony will take place on 7 January in Zurich.
