FIFA on his official Website announced the names of three players competing for prize of Ferenc Puskás. This award goes to a player who had scored the most beautiful goal of the year.
Candidates for the award were initially 10, but by a vote among football fans list of applicants for the prize for the most beautiful goal of the year was down to three players.
The highest number of votes received by Miroslav Stoh (Fenerbahce, March 3, 2012 onwards), Radamel Falcao (America de Cali - Atletico, May 19, 2012 onwards), and Neymar (Santos-Internacional, March 7, 2012 onwards).
The winner of this nomination will be announced January 7, 2013, in Zurich, Switzerland.
