Giorgio Marchetti: “In the San Siro field still acceptable”

Giorgio Marchetti, UEFA representative, said that the union did not consider the complaint, Barcelona on the quality of the turf at the stadium San Siro, filed after the match, quarter finals of the Champions League against the Milan (0:0).
"Periodically, there are problems with the lawn, San Siro this is due to the microclimate in the bowl of the stadium. Neither the Milan or Inter here can not do anything. They are trying to deal with this problem, but many games are held on the grass, the state of MDM is far from ideal.
In the San Siro field still acceptable. Simply, there is a difference between acceptable and perfect. This problem is known to all, and I do not think it will be resolved quickly. Adriano Galliani said something about a new type of coverage, but not in our competence to decide what is best for the stadium.
More and more games passes, more and more problems with lawn. In Amsterdam, for example, this problem was solved, but it is difficult to find away out"- quoted Marchetti Football Italia with reference to broadcast Radio CalcioMercato.
