Juventus General Manager Giuseppe Marotta confirmed that the Italian Club was close to an agreement on the transfer of striker Fernando Llorente, whose upcoming summer ends contract with Athletic Bilbao.
“We think about the future and constantly monitor the players whose contracts run out. The Basque striker is among those players. Negotiations are at an advanced stage,” - Marotta said.
It was earlier reported that the 27-year-old Llorente will contract up to 2017, with the option to extend it for a year.
