A former football player, Lazio and The New York Cosmos Giorgio Chinaglia today died of a heart attack at age 65, according to AP.
In 1974, together with Giorgio Chinaglia Lazio won the series A, and also played for Italy at the World Championships. In 1976 he moved to the New York Cosmos, where foreight seasons, scoring 262 goals and was top scorer in the history of the North American Football League.
Since 2006, Chinaglia lived in the U.S., because at home he was charged with in volvement in a criminal gang, in 2006, which tried to illegally buy the Lazio.
