The goalkeeper of Juventus and Italy international Gianluigi Buffon topped the list of the best goalkeepers of the 21st century by the International Federation of football history and statistics (IFFHS). Following a vote of 34-year-old guard gate just by one point ahead of goalkeeper of Real Madrid and Spanish International Iker Casillas, recognized by the IFFHS best goalkeeper by the year 2012. Third place in the ranking took Cech Petr Cech of Chelsea, and behind it are the Dutchman Edwin van der Sar and German Oliver Kahn, has already completed a career.
