Manchester City have rubbished reports suggesting Edin Dzeko is closing on a summer switch to Italian giants AC Milan.
That transfer has now gone through, so the Rossoneri are set to step up their efforts to bring in a replacement. Dzeko, who has been targeted by Milan in the past, is believed to be in their thoughts. City, though, insist they have received no approach and say they have never heard of Sead Susic, the representative claiming to be working on a deal.
An agent claiming to be acting on behalf of the Bosnian striker was quoted on Wednesday as saying that a deal to take Dzeko to Serie A has a 70 per cent chance of going through. Milan are known to be in the market for attacking talent after agreeing to sell Zlatan Ibrahimovic to PSG.
