As a midfielder of Borussia Dortmund Henrikh Mkhitaryan could miss the guest match of UEFA Europe League with Azerbaijani Gabala for political reasons. The game will be held in Baku on 22nd of October.
The problem is the visit of Mkhitaryan to Nagorno-Karabakh in 2011 which Azerbaijan considered as occupied territory. It is noted that in case of arrival to Baku Mkhitarian can be arrested because of the article of the Criminal Code called illegal crossing of the state border of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
