Manchester United midfielder Ryan Giggs has shared expectations of the Olympic Games, at which he will be captain of Great Britain.
“To be part of the Olympic team is a great honour. In addition, Stuart Pearce appointed me captain. It's an incredible responsibility. Since I am a Welshman, it is very important for me to join the team. This is a chance for all Britons who cannot be dismissed. We look forward to the Olympics.
If people disagree with the principle of completing our team, then that is their choice. We are very pleased to enter into a team,” - said 38-year-old Giggs.
