Goran Pandev believes that Napoli can claim all of the club game's top honours in the coming years if they hold onto their Jose Mourinho-like coach, Walter Mazzarri.
The Macedonia international joined the Partenopei on a permanent basis in June, after spending last season at the San Paolo on loan from Inter. Pandev, of course, was a part of the Mourinho-led Nerazzurri side that won the treble in 2010 and he feels that the biggest similarity between the Portuguese and Mazzarri is the way in which they are both able to motivate their troops to do absolutely anything for the cause.
Pandev explained that he was only too happy to commit his future to Napoli because he believes the club are capable of great things - provided Mazzarri, whose future has been the subject of much debate since May's Coppa Italia success, remains at the helm.
“Mazzarri is like Mourinho because he has the group in hand, and a great group at that: we play from memory and people enjoy us.”
