England midfielder Ashley Young shared his impressions of the game 2 1st round UEFA Euro-2012 against Sweden (3: 2).
“We knew it would be a hard game. In the second half, the Swedes were constantly trying to go forward and score goals, that they have. We have a great team spirit, and this allowed us back in the game at 1: 2 and eventually become winners. The entire field was an excellent team game.
Theo Walcott in and gave the game a new impetus, and scored after the transfer. We have players who can do this, we have an excellent team, which is a struggle for places in the starting line-up. Always nice to know that people can come out with bench and replace you”, - said Ashley.
