Buffon came under the suspicion of the police of the Treaty matches

Police will investigate the Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon in the case concerning the Treaty matches and bookmakers betting on them.
Suspicion led to banking. He wrote 14 cheques for amounts from 50 to 200 thousand Euros in the period from January to September 2010. The total amounted to 1585000 Euros. Moreover, the recipient was the same person - Massimo Alfieri, who owns a firm that takes bets on football matches, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The lawyer's claims that these payments have nothing to do with interest rates.
